Shaquille O’Neal Uses Instagram To List His Los Angeles Abode

There’s more than one basketball superstar with a home on the market this month. Shaquille O’Neal, or @Shaq as he is known on Instagram, announced to his 15.7 million followers that his five-bedroom, 4.5 bath house in Bell Canyon is for sale for $2.5 million. According to property records O’Neal purchased the home for $1,815,000 in 2018. His announcement included a four minute video walking tour through the main rooms of the house, starting off with its stacked stone exterior entrance that leads into a circular double-height foyer and adjacent living room. He too has an impressive art collection, just like Portland Trailblazers star Carmelo Anthony who has also listed his home for sale this month (a full-floor condo in New York asking $12.85 million).

Being a secluded neighborhood not far from the epicenter of Los Angeles the region has been home to a few celebrities such as Joe Rogan, Alyssa Milano and Trey Songz. Of the homes currently for sale in Bell Canyon the prices start at around one million, with the highest-priced listing asking $4.95 million for 7,000 square foot house on 26 acres. Most homes are between one and two million, with only five of them priced over the two million mark. O’Neal’s house is a 5,200 square foot home on a one-acre lot behind a gated entrance to the community.
