On the cusp of a new decade, New Year’s resolutions are forming in the commercial real estate workforce. Where do job candidates search for CRE openings? The job board SelectLeaders remains the go-to resource for producers, hiring managers and recruiters.

This month, Bisnow Media announced the acquisition of SelectLeaders Real Estate Job Network, which has been online for as long as CRE professionals en masse have searched at their keyboards over dial-up modems for a better tomorrow.

Since SelectLeaders’ founding in 2002, the digital landscape for job postings and career connections has gotten crowded. News of this purchase will surely attract candidates to – and, in the case of experienced workers, back to – SelectLeaders.com, the proverbial yardstick in the U.S. and Canada for CRE job boards.

“Bisnow’s mission is to inform, connect and advance the commercial real estate industry to do more business,” said Bisnow CEO Will Friend in a statement. “At our core, we have always focused on the people that propel this industry forward.”

As they say at Bisnow, they’re "intensely curious about commercial real estate," publishing about trends, personalities and happenings. Their platform reaches 30 million readers, and 100,000 industry insiders attend upwards of 350 Bisnow events annually. Since the recapitalization of its founders in 2016, Bisnow is owned by New York-based private equity firm the Wicks Group and Bisnow’s management team.

“We believe in being the most data-driven and technologically enabled platform in everything we do — whether that be digital media or live events,” said Friend, “and now that SelectLeaders is a part of our platform, we will apply that methodology and other best practices to SelectLeaders and drive them to connect more employers and employees than ever before.”
