“One of my favorite places to go and enjoy are the Sandia Mountains to the East of Albuquerque. (Fun fact: “Sandia” means watermelon in Spanish and these mountains get their name from the pink glow that is caused by the reflection of the sunset each night.) If I have the time, I go all the way to the crest because the views are absolutely breathtaking. The whole city is laid out before you, and all you can see is the sky,” says local photographer Kristina Graff
