Boxing champ Sugar Ray Leonard and his wife Bernadette have listed the custom-built home they have lived in for over 20 years. Located in the Pacific Palisades are of Los Angeles, the two-acre estate is asking $51.995 million for a gated 16,773 square foot, seven bedroom main house plus two-story guest house. According to public records, this will break price records by a considerable amount since the highest-priced public sale on record for the Pacific Palisades is $33.875 million for 15,000 square foot house that sold in 2018. Leonard’s home was being shopped around off the multiple listing service at least since July of this year, but this past week the couple placed it for sale publicly.

Designed by architect-to-the-stars Richard Landry, the old world European style home has ivy-covered walls, including several curved walls that have fully operable doors in a palladian style. These are flanked by full-glass rectangular doors on the wings that stretch from the round core of the house. The stone floors in the solarium (pictured below) as well as other parts of the house are imported from Jerusalem. A total of six fireplaces, imported from Europe, also add to the design.
