Inviting the outdoors into your bedroom enhances your health and productivity. “Nature can also improve your mood, bring clarity to ideas, and create a relaxing space,” says Cynthia Yosha-Snyder, owner of Yosha Snyder Group. “Consider adding plants and natural artwork to bring the outdoors in.”

Earth tones are making a big comeback thanks to their ability to bring warmth and a sense of calm to a space. “Incorporate different earthy shades to help create a cozy bedroom sanctuary,” says Stacy Graves, owner of Stacy Graves Interiors. “Remember, earth tones aren’t just brown – any color you can find in nature will work.”

Some projects require an interior designer, no matter how hard you try to do it yourself.
